Come aboard the Tamesis Dock; a quirky boat-pub moored on the Albert Embankment!
If you’re looking for something unique, look no further than this converted Dutch barge, permanently floating between the Vauxhall and Lambeth Bridges. The top deck is the perfect place for long Summer evenings, sipping on your bevvy of choice and taking in the stunning views of the city. If you’re more the indoorsy type, head below deck, sit back and relax as you gently sway to the waves of the Thames, and have a little look at the collection of eclectic items lining the walls – all brought back to the ship by the owner from various trips away. The lower deck can also be hired out for parties, and regularly houses live music and DJs, having hosted bands such as Bastille and Deap Vally in the past.
On top of this, Tamesis offer a wide array of drinks and spirits, and always serve in double measures (cos hey, who wants to be single?!) They also serve food – including burgers, tapas and (very aptly) fish finger sandwiches! All in all, expect a chilled and friendly atmosphere that will make you feel right at home!
