The wardrobe can be a confusing place for most twenty-something men. You are at a stage of transition. Entering a world where the days of t-shirts and skinny or baggy jeans are gone. You need to freshen up, perhaps look a bit more professional, but you aren’t quite ready to go for the tucked-in polo look just yet. Don’t worry, Foxhall London is the answer to your dilemma. While most clothing brands cater for the cheap 21 and under group, 35+ men or the ultra-wealthy, those that offer interesting professional yet stylish clothes, that are well made and don’t cost a fortune are few and far between. That said, once we saw the offering by Foxhall at their minimalist Seven Dials store, wall to wall with everything a young professional male could ask for, we were weak at the knees.
When Martin Franklin started the clothing brand in August 2012 he wanted to take his passion for menswear and create functional but stylish clothing for the discerning metropolitan man. He offers the total package. You can find jeans, trousers, suits, jackets, coats, tees, and even cycle jackets – all with the perfect balance of style and comfort. Their styles will impress at business lunches but are perfect when you’re just out with friends. One of our favourites is their wool trench coat. They’ve taken the classic style and shortened and tailored it to look stunning. Best of all are all the quirky features like a hidden compartment in your sleeve for an Oyster card or the inside pocket for an umbrella. Their Japanese denim jeans are also top quality soon to become your go-to pair; super comfortable but look sharp. Wear them regularly, don’t wash them too often, and they’ll shape themselves to your legs.
