We are Twenty Something London (TSL), a recommendations website that brings you the best of what’s on in the capital, from our favourite independents.
TSL stemmed from a desire to tell everyone about the London that we know and love. We wanted to show people that there’s a whole movement of independent individuals and businesses who weren’t getting the exposure they deserved. So, we ran with it, and thus Twenty Something London was born and went live circa September 2012.
What do we do?
Our site lists our favourite independent places in the capital. We meet their great owners, write about their stories and what they offer, all the while inviting them to be a part of our community. We also run event promotion for these wonderful people, maintaining a library of amazing things going on in the capital for all you unique and adventurous readers. And we’re far from finished! We’re constantly updating the website with new events and places for you guys to enjoy.
How can you help?
The amazing businesses TSL strives to support survive purely on word of mouth simply by being great at what they do. No big ad budgets or marketing campaigns to be seen. Our site wants to help these businesses thrive and gain more recognition for all the hard work they put in, and you, dear reader, can play an important part too. If you find a place you like, share it with friends, and help them get the love they deserve. We’re also continually on the lookout for more incredible cafes, bars, restaurants, and more, that are still tucked away in the hustle and bustle of the capital, yet to be discovered by the TSL team. If you are one, or you know about one, we’d love to hear from you, so get tapping away on our contact page.
These people have helped us spread the word of independents, we couldn’t do it without them – so make sure to check out their sites and follow them on Twitter!
Thank you to all the independents involved and also Jack Burke from Jack Vs. Life.
